Vanessa & Gabriel's Rainforest Elopement

It’s been a minute since I packed up my camera and headed out to the rainforest for a shoot. So when Vanessa and Gabriel contacted me enquiring about a rainforest elopement I was excited for an excuse to head out for a remote photo session and spend some time in nature.

Like many lovers wanting to tie the knot over the past few years Vanessa and Gabriel had run into some COVID related challenges when it came to organizing their special day, so these two were keen to celebrate with a photo session in nature in a place where they have spent a lot of time together as a couple. I had never been to this location before and I have completely fallen in love with it both as a photo shoot location and a place to visit again with my family for a swim during the summer months!

This turned out to be one of my absolute favourite portrait sessions for a good long while and I found it hard to narrow it down to just a few favourite images to share with you, but I’ve done my best…
